I am trying to net render to texture using back burner. I am successful when rendering whole textures at a time but for some reason whenever I use ‘split scan lines’ in the net render job submission window it NEVER works. It submits perfectly, (I use the rendered frame window) shows GREAT progress, finishes, does the second pass to put the splits together, finishes with NO ERRORS WHAT SO-EVER, then ploop! I get some 100 kb files with only a black background.

Does anyone know what could cause this? I’m hoping there’s some magic check box that I’m forgetting.

PLEASE HELP!

FYi: I am using FG on high, GI is on, caustics is off, we are not using contours (or w/e it is that backburner is incompatible with), bucket order is on hilbert at 48 width, sample rate is 1:16 or 4:64, all the max files are stored and submitted on/via the network drive, dbr is not being used, it is a small farm with 5 nodes all running win 7, manager is running on a separate non-server machine (win 7) which also houses the network drive. (Connection limit on win 7 is actually 20 not 10. see this thread: http://area.autodesk.com/for...r-2011-ping-task-timeout/)
