Ok I have come to the conclusion that the Backburner Web Monitor is really flawed. Not only does it have administration rights problems, see thread here:

http://area.autodesk.com/for...os/backburner-web-monitor

it also states that all my blades only have 4 megs of ram, which of course they have 16. Also, while you can view it on Blackberry phones it has some formatting issues that could be cleaned up. I realize that Droids and iPhones have better browsers, but unfortunately most corporations don’t allow them on their corporate networks.

Autodesk please throw Backburner away and create something better. Buy up Qube and add an asset collection module to it (shared corporate drives are not a solution when you have users in countries with slow internet connections), fix Backburner’s inability to recognize time zones (I have company artist all over the world), work with Adobe and create an Uber farm management application.

It just seems that Autodesk has really neglected Backburner for a long time. It’s high time I think they come up with something better.
