Hi

I am rendering an exterior image with the MR daylight system, MR physical sky and MR photgraphic exposure. But the problem is MR Phyical sky adds a blue tinge to my renders. My current client does not like it. I have tried adjusting the red/blue tint. Turned off inherit from sky. But they don’t appear to have any effect.

How can I stop the MR Physical sky adding the blue tint to my images

Thanks

Did you try the Haze parameter?

:) Clear blue sky = subtle blue light. Happens in the real world, some examples here:

But I realize it’s not about what’s physically correct, it’s always about making your client happy...so…

Reset the red/blue tint back to zero and also put the saturation to 0.0 and you should have a nice neutral/gray skylight (depending on your exposure setting of course).

Just remember that if you’re also using the mr Physical sky for the scene environment you’ll have to make it’s settings unique instead of having it linked to the mrSky (default config) else you’ll end up with a gray sky in your background.

You could also ditch the mrSky all together and just use a skylight with a neutral color of your clients choosing for the skylight.  Again, not realistic but may satisfy your clients desire to kill our happy fun filled blue sky!

Or you could leave the scene as is and try to remove the blue tint in post.
