Hi All,

I’m just trying to produce some elevations of a building and currently have a vast model all around it. So far I can get a elevation through using a slice then using a parallel projection to render off the building. However, This removes buildings that would be potentially behind the camera and reflect in the windows.

Is there a simple means to make buildings that would otherwise get in the way of the render invisible but reflecting in the windows of the building?

If I’m majorly missing something, as to how to best set up a model for an elevation, any help would be much appreciated!

Ben

Yes. Just look in the object properties window. There’s a series of checkboxes and they should be pretty self-explanatory I think.

Sure, you’re looking for a setting which is called “Invisible to Camera” . It will still process reflections and shadows to other objects unlike if you set the object to be non renderable . This should work for you .
