I am using a few Matte objects in my scene and they render fine locally But when i render on my small render farm My fastest machine which is the local machine i use for editing does not render one of the Matte objects at all.. I think all of the other machines do..

I noticed it before with a small set of frames but i thought at the time it was one of the slower machines so i was not too worried about it and just replaced the bad frames… But this time it really messed me up.

Any ideas on this?

I guess i should add that i am using MR to render.

Just using the normal Matte/Shadow material.

If you are using mr, have you tried using the mr Matte/Shadow/Reflection material instead of the standard one. It’s worth trying to see if it solves the problem, plus, it is way better than the standard Matte/Shadow material.
