Render to Texture only outputs completeMap...

This is happening on both 2009 and 2010. Whenever I output, not matter what output I have (lightingmap, normal map) I get the same results...a completeMap. If I un-check shadows...the shadows are still on the output...not matter what I try to change the output is the same. It isn’t working...Any ideas? I can’t find anyone else experiencing this. I have use “Render to Texture” a lot in my workflow, but i can’t pinpoint when this issue started, but it is definantly more recent...and occurs in both installs of Max (2009, 2010)…

seems like the file that is outputted is correct...however the render window is not...any ideas why this would happen all of a sudden?

Thats the way it is , on the render window you will see the full render ( complete ) , but
the saved image will be the type of bake you configured .
