I have a fairly large and complex scene I want to render. I’m rendering it very large, because it is going to be turned into a poster. however, it takes a LONG time to render the scene, because of its complexity. when I change even a smaller detail i like to render to see what needs to be adjusted. but if i re-render the entire thing every time i make a change, I’ll never finish. is there a way to select a certain portion of the scene to render, without moving the camera?

You can render just a region of your scene by selecting ‘region’ under ‘area to render’.  Hope that helps, cheers.
