hi everyone
I use vray as production renderer before, but recently I start to use mentalray, and I find one thing bothering me, that is—when I try to seperate scene object for phoptoshop compositing, if I use vray, there is a render element in vray renderer-- “render id”, it can easily seperate one object from another, and I don’t need to assign each object’s id one by one, as long as add it in the render elements rollout, and after render processing finished, it pop up automaticly, it’s easy enough to select certian range in photoshop, but if I use mentalray, I have to use material id or object id (both of them have same usage as render id ), and assgin each objects different id in the scene manually, it’s really anoying me, is there any function in the mental ray that can be easily use as vray’s render id??
