Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help me or tell me what I have done wrong.

Somehow all bitmap path references from my most used custom library are removed and replaced by the word ‘JPG file’ So I can’t even tell the name of the file that should be there to try and restore the material.

Is there any way to restore my textures to my library without me having to manually search for every texture to restore my complete 150+ materials lib?

btw… i also mentioned this in the ‘save library on exit prompt’-error, ‘coz I think this could be related.

thanks a lot for any help

Max version? IIRC this was fixed by a Service Pack and/or Hotfix.

Max 4.2 through 2013.
XP-64 (SP2)
NVidia 9800GTX-512 (Driver 266.58).
Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz, 8Gb Ram, DX9.0c.

Does anyone else struggle with this problem? Or maybe someone that has a solution for it Please?

I really really need those materials back working. I worked with them and built upon them for ages.
They act like a branding for my work to me now so you can understand that I treasure them.

Tks a lot for any suggestions
