I have tried setting to Mental Ray and I’m running under D3D Mode.
I’m using ShaderFX on 3Ds Max 2010 64bit Edition, I noticed when I set to Mental Ray the object I was rendering got glossy which is what the material is but it won’t render the textures in the shader.

DirectX shaders only render in the viewport itself, not in a renderer. If you transfer the maps to the Stand-in material in the bottom of the shader, then it will render, but some effects may not transfer properly.
Best bet is to capture from the viewport itself, Animation Preview is one way to do this.
