Hi all,

The trim around this opening is extruded from the polys around the edges of the hole.  However, I need to texture the fuselage one color and the trim another.  Unfortunately, when I do a UVW unwrap, what I get is below.  Is the a way to do?  Also, did I perhaps do something wrong that would cause it?  It’s my understanding that UVW Unrap flattens everything on the model, but it didn’t here.  It did give me a buttload of tiny pieces, some as small as individual polys.

It sounds like you need to learn more about the basics of UV’s and unwrapping.  I recommend checking out this recent thread to learn more about how to learn UV unwrapping…
