i chose pro-materials concrete, expoxy but the concrete looks too boring and flat.
can somoene give me a walkthrough on making a nice looking concrete. sorry I am not that experienced with tutorials. I have read allot about it but nothing can compete with someone saying put this bumpmap etc. thanks!

I don’t care for the Promaterials, and would suggest going with an Arch & Design. They have some pretty decent material presets, two of which are concrete. The nice thing with the A&D option is that you can start with the preset as a base and easily customize it to suit your needs.

Yes the pro mats are just too perfect to pass as real. Start with A&D concrete preset and add your own maps if you need to.
Do you ever think the A&D and Pro Mats were named the wrong way around? Those those perfect and flawless materials seem well suited for architecture and product design. Those known as A&D are better suited for those who want a much deeper level of control over the look of the materials for added realism.

I’d recommend adding your own maps, it can be as simple as photographing a few pieces of sidewalk, making them tileable in pphotoshop, and using them as color and possibly the bump map.
