Problem with loading a saved material library's texteures

Hi my friends.
I pick a Multi/Sub-Object material from an object in my scene then Put it in Library (with “Put in Library” button) and finaly save (or save as) material libray. I have no problem with loading the material and textures, even I Reset the max and open other files but when I close the max and run it again textures are lost. (see attachments)

In addition my default renderer engine is mental ray and I checked that..

please help me..

Realy helps to know which version of Max - putting it in your sig is a good idea.

Assuming Max 2010 it’s a known issue, resolved in SP1.
Max 2010 Updates and Service Packs
Max 2010 Design Updates and Service Packs

Make sure you pick the right one for your version of Max.



Max 4.2 through 2013.
XP-64 (SP2)
NVidia 9800GTX-512 (Driver 266.58).
Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz, 8Gb Ram, DX9.0c.

thanks, the max version is 2010 32-bit.
I got SP1 from your link and upgraded the software.
but the problem exists yet..

should I download all of this links? or which of them?

No, just SP1 and the latest hotfix.

It won’t fix existing problems (libraries which are already missing the materials), but should prevent it happening on new ones.

Search the Max 2010 forum - there are several threads on this.
