Hello,
I have a problem with image colours. So when I create a material I load an image (jpg, bmp, psd, whaterver) and colours of original image are different than colours of image that is loaded by 3ds max. Loaded image is more brownish. I checked on 3ds max 2009 and 2010 and problem remains.
If Anyone had that issue and fixed it, please respond.

You can see the effect on the image. The one on the right side is the original image.

That’s most probably a Gamma issue.
Is the Gamma in the max (Preference, Gamma and LUT) file enabled and what about the settings?
Also the “original” image could have a gamma correction when created who knows?

Also, check to make sure the image is not set to CMYK.  Max likes the color mode to be RGB.
