Does anyone know of a way to get camera motion-control data (ascii format) into max 2009? thanks!

you could do it with a filein and write the values to camera keys. is it flair or kuper virtuals? if it´s flair i could convert it for you if you only need it once. I have a tools for motion control/3dsmax but i don´t give it out yet. it´s basically just reading in the values from the file and expect to flip around some axes, since the cartesians systems differ.

If you want a 3d match to a motion control plate i would recommend you track it since the lens will unlikely match. i shoot seperate tracking passes with markers in.
