I’m hoping that the education version of 3ds Max 2010 has the ability of using as rendering farm. If the rendering farm is an option, do all computers have to the same version of 3ds Max 32 bit or 64 bit because just my latest Computer 64 bit & the others are 32 bit OS.
Last night I just found where the tutorials are on my main computer and I’m getting a “Missing External Files” error message every time I try to do a render for the tutorial files. I have tried to add the directory where the files are.
3ds Max is looking for the files in
sceneassets\images\
When the files are really in
\Documents\3ds Max 2010 Tutorials\sceneassets\images
what do I need to do to fix this?
Thanks,
Max 2010, Windows 7 Home Premium
NVidia GeForce GTS 240 (Driver 8.15.11.8627).

The tutorials in Max 2010 are set up differently to previous versions. They are now configured as if they were a Project, so the best way to use them is to change your Project Directory [1] to point to the directory in which you installed them.
[1] Customise | Configure User Paths | Project Directory (at the top of the dialog).
Note. Vista/Win7 users - if you installed the tutorials under your main Max install directory you may have problems saving your files - UAC may well prevent you doing so. Move the entire tutorials directory to somewhere where you have full access, if that’s the case, to prevent this problem.
Max 4.2 through 2013.

NVidia 9800GTX-512 (Driver 266.58).
