Hello everyone, this is my first model. I started learning 3D on Lightwave and recently started playing with Max(2 weeks ago). I need to build my self a demo reel for school to be accepted(3indoor,3outdoor,3models). Funny thing was that I got refused the first try for missing it. One would taught you go to school to learn lol. Anyway, I’ve been working on this lizard the past 2 day/nights(about 16hrs in) and its my first model w/out following any tutorials. I would like to know your taught about it and any advice would be welcomed.

I my self got a few problems on some parts like the details. Should I take time detailing it even more(Veins, muscle, etc) or take it in Zbrush(wich I never used but do have a few turorials at hand)

I never used materials on a single object but I got some walkthrough today on it. I Also tried selecting the polygons and applying the materials on and was worked fine, well for the applying part but the materials arent showing nice at all. Like every single polygons have the material reset on it not matching others.

Should I play with bones(IK) before applying materials or doesnt matter?

Thx for info.
