Hi
I am wondering on how to make an arch shaped door i have a box with a hole cut out i have create another two boxes for the left and right part of the door (joints) and attached them together then bridge them together. here is the problem i am working with a maya tutorial and on the bridge you can set the number of divisions but in max you cannot set the number of divisions. i have tried a number of ways and i am stuck
cheers

You can alter the settings for Bridge in Edit Poly. Instead of clicking the Bridge button, click the little icon next to it to bring up the settings.

I understand that okay let me go into more detail from the maya tutorial once you have box then cut out the hole for the door and delete it now create the left joints add a 1 for the top of the joint. Now more the segs up so it is at the top of the jointcopy that across to the other side convert down to a poly attach the 2 joints togeter now bridge the segs
in the maya tutorial it’s says smooth path + curve is selected but max does not have that and it does have the divisions in the bridge tool so i am wondering if there is any-way to set a smooth path and change the divisions

That’s nothing, you should see the pickle I got into while trying to do a Photoshop tutorial while working in MS Word…
But really, it is hard to interpret what you are trying to do just by your description. Plus I’m not familiar with how bridge works in Maya.
It may help to show some shots of what you are doing and a link to the tutorial.
I’m sure it is quite possible to model a door in Max, but the method and procedures will not necessarily be the same as they are in a different software.
The bottom line being, if learning to model in Max, look at Max modeling tutorials.
