I need to model some round and square containers, with curved sides like this:

I might have a brain freeze once again as anything I came up just didnt work. How should I approach this? Ideally I would need total control over the curve. I am sure it is totally doable (and likely easy), but never done anything like it. I’d appreciate tips!

Bevel Profile. Great for that kind of object.

Indeed, that was it! I had used bevel profile on straight shapes before and it never occurred to me I could use it like this.

Thanks so much!

Ok, one more question regards this…

I am working with circles right now to make a round thingy. I’d need to match the top and bottom radiuses to a certain object, how would I go about that because I still need the neat curvy sides? (other than lathing)

Well, if you use a circle as the base object then a Bevel Profile on top, the results are very similar to using a Lathe anyway.
If you create the shape accurately, and make the base circle the correct size, then it should just work, Bevel Profile or Lathe - they both allow access to the profile shape so you can alter it later.

You mean a fillet? Use the chamfer in the edge edit mode.
Use the first spinner as your radius and add “segments” to get a rounded edge in the second spinner.
