I am currently trying to model a football in 3ds max. And need some help!
It is not ur standard football with the 32 panels as there are loads of tutorials on the web and its a pretty standard shape to create.
My problem is creating the 18 panels and then bending them around into a spherical shape.
Please can u help?
Please see attached a template i have to work from and the fional result im looking for.

I would spline model half of it and then add a symentry modifier to complete the object
