How to join two splines together belonging to the same "Editable Spline"

Hi,

How can i join two “open” splines that belong in the same Editable spline (one closed spline).

Like in the following pic:

You are in “Spline” sub-object mode. This would be clearer if you clicked the little “+” to the left of “Line” in the stack. Switch to Vertex SO, area select the top vertices and weld, then do the same with the bottom ones.



Max 4.2 through 2013.
XP-64 (SP2)
NVidia 9800GTX-512 (Driver 266.58).
