Hi

I want to make a very simple 3d animation, and when i mean simple i mean with similar character graphics as this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OB4DDtIKrAw (awesome game, brings back so many fond memories, or should that be bond memories :P)

pretty much no surface details, its all textures. which would be the easiest way to model, and to rig a character like this?

making a 3d scene im pretty comfortable with as its just a static 3d model, and sma egoes for a simple car, making it move is fairly easy as it has no movine parts excet the wheels and they just rotate and swivel a bit. but a character… with lots of moving parts, and each part has to move in every frame and deform the mesh at just the right point… thsi is gonna be new to me and quite a challenge. so if anyone can paint me in the direction of any good vdieo tutorials, or free models that fit the bill or just give me any useful hints or tips it will all be greatly appreciated!

You need to do the Max Tutorials. See “Modelling a Lo Poly Body” in the Modelling section and the Character Animation section.
