Hi Guys

I have been searching forums and various other parts of the InterWebz for a little while without having found anyone able to answer my question and help with my problems. So I am hopinh maybe some of you might have an idea.

For a part of a project I am working on, I have been assigned to animate a small flapping paper bird. So, the bird has to look like it was made by folding paper. For the sake of making it as easy as possible, I chose the easiest kind of flapping bird that I could find. It is basically made from a square piece of paper, folded 2 times and then you have it, and I thought to make sure that proportions are correct and such, I would try and model it from starting with a plane and then folding it like I would the paper if I had to, does this make any sense?

I would like to end up with something like this: http://www.instructables.com/id/ST1KCU9F3ETRWKU/
Thanks in advance for help and tips :)

Similar question. Although if you don’t need to see the animation of the paper folding, it may be easier to poly model it in folded form. Doing multiple folds on folds is a pain.
