What have you done so far? Start with the modeling tutorials that come with max. After that you should be able to do a lo-poly car with some patients and perseverance.

Your request is extremely vague. How low-poly?

I’m sure this is not what you meant, but do you have any examples of what you are after?
That would really help.

Seems to me this is a duplicate of this thread - just adding “low poly” doesn’t really make it a different question.

speaking of car modeling, i want to model a car (never tried modeling one...)but i want to know what it the best base mesh...a plane or a box?

I like working with plans, but sometimes I use splines and convert them into edit poly.  I will try to put a quick tutorial up on traptcg.com.

Check out traptcg.com for video tutorials in max and other software
