Hey.

How can I unite all of the branches, sub-branches and the trunk of the tree together into a single(whole) object?

I tried to use “Boolean”, but its just too much hassle.

To be able to use Smoothing later down the workflow; create a couple of edge-loops in the main trunk, cut holes attach the branches and weld the vertices.

Thanks for the advice, but I wasn’t planning on using /Smoothing/.
So I’m trying to keep it as simple as possible.

Then why not doing all this (the branches) through extruding polygons from the main trunk, instead of doing the branches separately and connecting them to the trunk?

Well the thing is that I used a free tree generating program.
So it makes the branches and etc. separately from the trunk.
And then I imported it into 3Ds Max.

Other than the suggestions already given, would the attach command make it “whole” enough for your needs?
