Hi Guys,
got a serious problem with my model in Max. I have been working on this model for sometime now and I guess pressed some key accidentally. Though it is an editable poly, now I do not see the vertex nor can I select them though I am in the vertex mode under the Modifier option.
What has happened? I can still select the edges, polygon etc. but not the vertex.
Please help.

Could you have accidentally hidden them? Go to Vertex subobject mode, and find the Unhide All button to see if they come back.

Could you have accidentally hidden them?
There are two things I have never been able to catch in this facility:
Why can I (and what is the use of it) hide all the vertices but the object as such remains visible in the view-port?
And why (and what is the use of it) can I unhide just the vertices until the faces remain hidden?
Obviously Max can much more than we are expecting.
To the issue, I think Chris did the right suggestion but anyway, what happens if you try “Region Selection” of the vertices?

That was a relief...Thanks, Chris for the response. That worked. I am still surprised how this turned on as I was in full screen mode when this happened. Probably a hotkey.
