To watch the whole video of the interview, just click:
http://software.intel.com/en-us/...ggraph-2011/1247182607001

Here are the highlights::

• Atrium Designer provides real-time rendering directly in Autodesk® 3ds Max Viewport – making it easy to show project clients how light works in a fraction of the usual time
• Atrium Designer simulates light as it behaves in real life, especially helpful to 3D designers, architectural design, lighting artists, game designers or for those working with any aspect of visual design
• Using Lumatix Atrium Designer, changes to materials, lighting, camera, geometry and post-processing in Autodesk 3ds Max Viewport can all be carried out in milliseconds
• Changes can be coordinated in real time, either on-set or even using web-based meeting tools
• Special partnership with Intel on their software partner program using Intel VTune Amplifier for the software design – benefit is to get another 30 % performance out of the code base

I thought that when I first read it too but then I thought back to another similar post that I brought to Steve’s attention. He said he would let it go for now but keep an eye on it;
1.) Because it is Max related “information”
b.) it is good information on a “good” product and
Three.) Not really spam...yet.
That sound “close” Steve?
