What happens when six students from Gobelins L’Ecole de L’Image (Gobelins School of the Image), Paris’ premiere visual arts school, get together? You get Oktapodi, a wonderful, award winning short film with beautiful animation and a comical story line. We had a chance to speak with Thierry Marchand, one of the six directors, and find out how a university graduation project came to be a magnificent success ; Oktapodi has been nominated for an Academy Award in the category of Best Animated Short Film.
