An evening of Tips & Tricks with Max Gurus - Allan McKay & Joe Gunn.

Wednesday October 27, 2010 from 7 to 9pm at:

Pratt Center for Continuing Studies

All are welcomed so join our October Max User Group meeting for an Incredible Evening of Tips & Tricks with not One - but TWO Top 3DS Max Industry Gurus - Allan McKay and Joe Gunn. You are assured of being Enlightened and Entertained.

Allan has been in touch with us - and, what he plans to show is still a work in progress. But, as he mentioned briefly - “ ...show off some effects techniques from some recent films I’ve been working on, primarily focusing on particles, fluids and procedural pipelines.Basically I’ll either show off some krakatoa and fracturing or focus on a few other things...”

Joe will show off a bunch Advanced 3dsmax Rigging Techniques, depending on time - he will cover one or more of the following topics:

* Advanced use of the limit controller
* Advanced use of the scripted controller
* Pushing objects out of the way, without the reaction manager
* Scripted Viewport Display, getting info from your rig and displaying it in the viewport (this could take the whole 2 hours so i’ll just play it by ear)
