I’m new to the 3d world.  I have the autodesk Education suite 2010.  I plan to start some sort of school soon but until then, what would be better to get my feet wet.  Maya or 3D max?  Are the 2 kind of the same?  Thanks for your time guys. Jeff

I like more 3Ds Max but Both Software systems are great!!
