Title says it all, friends. I’ve got two pflows with instance objects; one is using a little disc and the other is using a little rectangle. I’m using a material frequency operator with a multisub material; there are 6 different vray materials. That’s all working fairly well. But I can’t seem to get them to be invisible to camera. I’d really like to do this for the shadow pass.

I’ve tried setting properties on the pflow ojbects, and also the instance objects, but they don’t seem to respect object properties or vray properties. Can anybody offer advice?

Thanks very much.

Open your particle view, highlight your PF Source, right-click and open the properties, uncheck visible to camera.

You have to do it in the particle view because pflow doesn’t respect just going into the object properties. And in the particle view, you can change the properties for indiviual events, or the entire setup.

Oh my, I never would have thought of that....well thanks again, Kreuger. I’m going to try this right away. You are extremely helpful, many thanks.
