Hi all,
I’m very frustrate about Reactor unit setup. This is my standard max file:
-------------------------------------------------------
System unit setup: cm
Display unit setup: cm
Reactor Gravity = ??? -980 ???
World scale = ???
1m= 100 cm I think....
-------------------------------------------------------
But, try with this simple parameter this scene… Max crash.
If you change Reactor World scale 1m = 90cm Max not crash, but the simulation… it’s very bad!
and the mass property? Kg? gr… what’s this unit?
Thanks :)

The issue is coming from the fact that your sphere has a diameter that is too close to the collision tolerance. If I increase the sphere’s radius to 5.15 cm, then the preview runs just fine. If you need the sphere to be 5.0 cm, you can run the sim at 5.15 cm then turn it back down to 5.0 cm after the keys are created. Or you can adjust the 1m = 90cm like you mentioned before.
And the mass is always measured in kilograms for weight.
