hello (ni hao!)

As for the script editor in pflow, you need to press CONTROL+D to refresh the syntax colors.
I might not be able to answer your other problem regardinng scite in pflow, coz im still using max9.

Long story short, Max 2008 where the SciTE-based editor was first introduced was a non-SDK-breaking release (meaning that on the positive side Max 9 plugins remained compatible with 2008). On the negative side, replacing the original editor of PFlow with the Scintilla controls would have caused potential problems in a release with frozen SDK (especially since Oleg, the original developer of PFlow, was not on the team). This sort of explains why the PFlow Script Editor of 2008 was not replaced with the new one (and the ability to color code the PFlow script source was also lost).

This does NOT explain why it was not done for 2009, but it was a short development cycle release and Oleg was still not back on board.
I am in no way implying that this will ever be fixed, just trying to explain why 2008 and 2009 do not have a good editor for PFlow scripts.
In fact, (shameless plug ahead) I opted to record my two new PFlow Scripting DVDs in Max 9 mainly for that reason (since the rest of the functionality was unchanged anyway) - I simply wanted some color coding…
