Ok, I am new to modeling. I’ve been following a tutorial on how to make a Cannon. I’ve animated the cannon to shoot cannon balls. So I convert the file to .x with the plugin and when I load it up, my right wheel on the cannon moves around for no reason. On my 3ds Max, it show the animation just fine, so i don’t understand why the .x file is messed up.

Game exporters are notoriously fickle. It is difficult to judge what the problem is, but I would guess that your mesh has a non-uniform scale on it.

This can be fixed by using the Reset Xform utility. Beware that this will destroy any rotation animation, but you can recreate the animation after resetting.

I also recommend you take a look at the more modern kwXport plugin for exporting .X files… it supports much more and is in constant development.
