I’m also having the same problem.  Can anyone help?  I think that it’s because QT does not support the x64 OS; however, I’m not sure.

Strange because I keep getting the “Cube2QTVR not found” error when I try to export to a .mov file, & I have both XP x64 & Vista x64.  Is there something I’m missing?  Best I can remember the plug-in comes with Max in the STDPLUG folder, right?  I wonder if 2009 just does not have it.

In all fairness this is my first attempt to do this, & I’m going on someone’s advice; therefore, I could just be screwing it up somehow.  Basically once I have the viewer with the panorama render in it I’m trying to export to the “Export QuickTimeVR” option.  Is this the right thing to do because I’m trying to get it from QT to Flash for the web?

Here is a link I found that may allow me to do this another way & bypass QT all together, but I’m not sure exactly how it works either; however, it looks promising.

Quicktime will only work with the 32-bit version. Trying to save a quicktime in 64-bit version usually causes
Max to crash. If you need the extra addressable ram or speed from 64 bit version, render out your scene as
an image sequence and either use the 32 bit version to make a quicktime file or use quicktime pro.

You should also consider disabling the qt auto-update. I have had it update to a version that caused every
graphic app to fail because they were connected to the qt api.
