Hair scale/cut length/root don't go above 100

Hi all,

Sorry if this is a bit of an obvious question, however it has always bugged me. What is the best way to get around the problem that the hair spinners don’t go above 100. At the moment I want to make the hair root thicker, but its already set to 100.

Any help would be great
