Hi All,

I was doing some UV unwrapping in 3Dmax 2009 and noticed a large lack in the UV unwrap modifier. For one. It does not have a symmetry tool for the vertex points. I used SHOW END RESULTS in the modifier with Symmetry. I can choose faces in the viewport that will do the symmetry done, but I cannot find any symmetry selection in the Edit UVW window.
And the RELAX tool sucks. (**Sigh)

Anyone know any free tools that will do this? I know there is unwilla, and polyboost, but they charge 100 bucks.

I hate to jump in between programs. But if push comes to shove, I will just use Blender to unwrap. All I really need though is symmetry and a better relax tool that works well with PELT.

Thanks.

Delete half of your mesh>unwrap>bake the UV’s and use symmetry mod>collapse all.
