Hi, very sorry to trouble you on my first post but i can’t seem to install CAT 3.
CAT 3 info

Whenever i try there is a pop-up window saying it can’t find “3dsmax.ini”
So i Googled around a bit and saw other people with the same problem.

Their answer was that the “.ini” file was located in “C:\Documents and settings\~Username~\Application data\Autodesk\3DsMax\9 - 32bit\enu\3dsmax.ini

But when i look there i have
C:\Documents and settings\~Username~\Application data\Autodesk\3DSMAX\11\ENU\11.0.0.57\MC3\ProDep_UserInd.mc3

And no 3dsmax.ini file.
I have also tried to unhide all folders but it gave no different result.

Does anyone know if the 3dsmax.ini file can be located elsewhere?
I am running 3DsMax9 on a XP.

Thank you in advance.

Their answer was that the “.ini” file was located in “C:\Documents and settings\~Username~\Application data\Autodesk\3DsMax\9 - 32bit\enu\3dsmax.ini

That path is incorrect - there is a missing “Local Settings”.
