So I’ve been searching the web, high and low for a plugin/addon that allows max 9 to render viewport cast-shadows in realtime (similar to max 2008/2009s ‘preview’ feature), but have had little success. I heard that Redviewer 1.5 seems to do this well, but I can’t find that plugin anywhere. Does anybody know of any kind of workaround that will allow me to do this in Max 9? Perhaps with a special directX shader or something? Seriously, this is driving me nuts…

Thanks!

P.S. please don’t tell me to upgrade to Max 2008/2009 because unfortunately that isn’t an option for me :-)
