Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I don’t see any place that looks better so…
I have a client who is quite interested in exploring the possibility of using real-time VR to do interactive walkthroughs of their condo layouts. With the quality of detail, materials, furniture and lighting being as high as possible.
It’s been a while since I looked in to this kind of thing. I’m familiar with Quest3D and Turntool. Are there others out there?
Quest3D looks promising, but I’m not sure how easy it is to use. I like that it looks like you can bake in GI lighting somehow. Has anyone used Quest3D with good success and care to comment?
Well I am no pro,
I gave Quest3D a test drive, its great, if you get familiar with the way it works and you r more then an artist as it needs also a lotle programming background.
As for the realtime, you surely can use the Cubicspace RTRE, i guess they have version 2 now, you can publish your whole scene into .exe, and you have a whole month for a trial and relatively cheaper then Quest.

RTRE has now been abandoned by CubicSpace and replaced with Plugin3d which is free but uses a credits sytem to publish to an executable file.
Personally I would avoid using it… the current version is dreadful.
