Total noob here....I’ve scoured every outlet I can think of looking for an answer but, no luck. I will now throw myself upon your mercy.  :)

I have an object export plugin that was compiled to run in Max 9. I’m running Max 2009. I’ve been told that I need to recompile the plugin in the Max 2009 SDK.

Is there a site out there where I can go to pick up a ‘Compiling Max Plugins for Dummies’ tutorial? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

I don’t know of such a site, but I’ve recompiled hundreds of plugins for newer versions of Max. If you’ve got the source code for the plugin, feel free to mail me at and I can recompile it for you.

Thank you! Dave, I appreciate your quick response. Let me see how things progress on Monday....I might just take you up on your offer.  :)

Thanks again,
