Hi,

I have recently installed onyx tree storm in 3ds max 2009.

I have added some trees to my scene, however they are not pre textured.

Could anyone shed some light on the best way to texture these trees?

And how you do this well?

Thanks,

J

Hi Jamie,

I recently started experimenting with the Onyx software as well. Although I have only scratched the surface, I recently watched a video that shed some light on things.

Anyway, this video is put on by Brian at 3DATS:

You have to fill out a brief survey, but the video download goes through the whole process - modeling, importing, and texturing. There is a pretty quick way to texture all the various parts of the tree/leaf geometry with the Tree Storm plug-in.

Hope this helps!
