I have my biped skinned and used ragdoll contraints per the ragdoll script.  Really happy to see it walks around on footsteps no problem and will ragdoll with reactor fine.

I now need to move into position in a scene. when I select the whole thing bones, and skin and try to move it with gizmo, the biped and the skin move but one drags out behind the other.  This is odd since they for one are linked, and for two i selected everything.  Sometimes cant get any of it to move, even selecting the pelvis which i think is the COM.  This is even before placing footsteps.  Figure mode/freeform mode confusing.  also sometime the figure pops back to its original location.

how do move the Biped where it belongs in the scene and start animating the bones after setting footsteps.

This is probably requires a good read to understand this.  But if its a simple couple points to get through these steps would be great to get a couple tips.

Thanks

To move the whole rig, don’t select it all, use the Move All Mode button (small circle with bent arrow). When skinned the skin mesh follows the bones, so moving the position of both offsets the skin away from the bones.

Sometimes cant get any of it to move, even selecting the pelvis which i think is the COM.

The COM and pelvis are two separate objects, the pelvis is linked to the COM, everything else is linked (indirectly) to the pelvis.

I got it work, thanks.

Now my last problem is getting the biped linked to the car, if i try to link the bip01 in freeform mode to the car the biped snapps back to 0,0,0 and then it becomes immovable.
