I’ve edited a simple low poly model. I’ve been following the official 3DS Max 8 tutorial (Adding Physique)on how to associate the biped to the model, and I can see the orange lines running thru the model with the x’s. But I’m getting no movement from my model. What the hell am I doing wrong?

The head of the biped doesn’t have an orange line. Is that supposed to be that way? My model’s also made of an editable mesh. Should it be converted to something else first?

DO NOT use Physique, use the Skin modifier instead. Physique is old and gray and hasn’t had any real updates since Max 3. Skin is the deformation system of choice.

Thanks. So I’ll try that and see if it works instead.
