Hi I’m a noobie but I’m good at following directions. I did all the steps below but my biped and mesh wont link. I do have 1 prop on my biped so I don’t know if I need to do something else. If no one knows exactly what the problem is by looking at the attachment please just give me a list of reasons why they wont link, thanks.
1. Opened the Motion panel.
2. Made sure Figure mode was on.
3. Selected the mesh.
4. On the Modify panel, chose the Physique modifier.
5. In the Front viewport, zoomed in on the biped’s center of mass.
6. On the Physique rollout, clicked Attach To Node.
7. In the Front viewport, clicked the biped’s center of mass.
8. The Physique Initialization dialog box appears.
9. Clicked Initialize on the dialog box.
An orange skeleton line doesn’t appear throughout the mesh!
When I try to move his arm the mesh wont move, please help.

Okay so I removed the prop and it worked. But I have a ninja and I wanted his sword to be the prop. I guess I will just have to do it seperatly.

Make the sword a separate mesh and attach it to the prop bone with select and link. You could use Skin instead of Physique. With skin you select the bones you want included, regardless of hierachy.

DO NOT use Physique. Drives me nuts that it is even still in the package. Use Skin, add Skin to the model and then add all the bones. Follow the help file on Skin and also my 3rd DVD at CG-Academy.net.
