Hi there,
I have to use the Physique modifier because of backward compatibility with the game engine we are using, otherwise I would use Skin.

How come I can’t see any envelopes to adjust for the hand, only one for the forearm?  I originally just overlapped the forearm modifier onto the child (hand) but this is not good because in my animations, the hands bend and move, so the biped hand is moving outside the mesh and not controlling it.  I added some fingers to the biped, but still see no selection to open a hand envelope.  What am I missing?  Is there a way to add a hand envelop to link the hand mesh to the hand bone?  Thanks

I think I may have found it, confirm if I’m correct, but I added the new finger bones to the model, and then reinitialized the physique modifier, and not the envelopes show up for the hand and fingers. (but now I have to re-skin everything, not happy about that)

Man, what a fiasco.  Since I re-initialized, I’ve had to fix all the envelopes again and I’m having a helluva time.  Wish I could go back to my old envelopes and weighting, which worked great.

Does anyone know of a way to just add the hand envelope without having to re-initialize the skinning of the entire physique modifier?

Don’t know an answer to your questions but why are you using the Physique modifier and not the Skin modifier as it is far superior.

Sorry missed the first line of your first post. Get some one to rewrite the exporter and you will have a far better time.
