Skin Modifier FUBAR 64bit MAX

I created a rig in MAX 32bit but recently loaded 64 bit MAX but now when I choose the skin modifier/edit envelopes, I cannot choose bones to edit. The interface just flashes and I am not able to select verts on the mesh. I had originally used the weight tool to change the weights of each vert on the mesh, now it doesnt work at all.

This was a problem before the hotfixes and service packs. Do you have service pack 2 installed?



3ds Max 2013, Windows 7 pro 64bit.
MSI NVidia GeForce GT240, 1GB DDR3 (Driver 286.19).
i7 2.93Ghz , 16Gb CORSAIR Vengeance RAM, DX9.0c.
