Hi Everyone.
as you can tell Im new to this.

i just want to get the 3dsmax AppWizard to work Correctly.

it was working with Vis Studio 2008 Express.
But know that ive installed Standard edition of Vis Studio it says Project Failed.

Ive Copied the 3 files (,vsz, .ico and .vsdir) to the Proper Folder and the Path is correct as well.

it shows up in the list when i go to new Project in Visual Studio But fails in creating the project.

also How do i get it to put the DLL’s into max’s plugin folder.

as of now i beleive its saving it outside in some other folder.

thanks Everyone.

what type of plugin do you try to create?
it does not support all the types, even if they are in the list.

Im creating a modifier.

i Actually solved the problem by going into the .vsz file and changing the app wizard version in there from 8.0 to 9.0

that fixed everything.
i cant beleive this could be a typ and they havent fixed it.

the problem im having now is when im trying to debug. it says its missing Symbols.

would you know why it says this?

thanks.
