I think it’s about time there was some consistency from dialog to dialog,
rollout to rollout, window to window and that they remember my layout, choices,
options, preferences.

Some dialogs have recent places, some don’t.  They never remember my
view preferences or the options I chose last time.  Rollouts never seem to remember
how I left them even though they’re supposed to.  Some do some don’t
but never after a program restart (consistency again).

These might be small things, but I see them as huge time-savers.

I would really like to see a UI overhall or at least a major update.
Modularity would be nice.  Being able to put settings from different things
together in one place (without having to write CAs use wires) would
be awesome.

One more teeny thing: make max only show up as ONE application when you use ALT-TAB.
Now, if you have a few dialogs open and want to switch to another app,
you’ve gotta keep pressing until you get past all the Max icons.  I typically have at least the render
window, ram preview, render settings, maybe environment, maybe materials, scene states, maybe a map
blowup preview open at once.  Right now there are nine Max icons in my ALT-TAB switcher.  And sometimes
it seems if I don’t land on the right one, it won’t actually switch back to max, only if I get the main app.
Ugh!
