It would be really nice if the Cap Holes modifier had a Material ID within it, so that the cap could be a different material from the rest of the object.
Also making a slice plane with definable boundaries would also be a nice touch.
Possibly if slice could simply be applied to any polygon to make it into a sliceable object might be the way to go?
